In world of warcraft cataclysm ,each class is entirely different to play and requires you to match the class to your personality. Some friends who find a mage to be the easiest. The easiest solo leveling class would be hunter and death knight in my opinion. Really it is mostly irrelevant at this point and depends mostly on how you level as oppose to what you level.
At a low level they're all somewhat squishy, with warlock/hunter having the decided advantage because of the tanking pet. Eventually, shadow/disc priests become nigh unkillable leveling machines for wow gold. Mages are glass cannons, but their ability to port to any major city becomes a pretty nice advantage. Definitely helps leveling.
Warlocks are about the same. They can't feign, but when you see a pull going bad, you just run like hell and resummon ur pet.
A protection warrior is also very easy to level. Especially since the beginning of WOTLK when they added so many changes to the warrior that you can throw away your brains and just start killing mobs without dying too much.
Shadowpriest, pretty much a cake in lots of situations. Pop shadow spells on everyone while walking backwards and let them drop dead before your feet. Casters are even easier.
Fire mage, pop a spell or 3 and the mob dies. Just don't fight fire immune mobs. Sheep, root them with ice, it's all possible to slow down the mobs.
In Mists of Pandaria.the easiest and fastest class to level period is defintely a Death Knight though. They start with their baseline skills intact, a great set of armor, are incredible at soloing content, wear plate, deal magic damage, and have powerful selfheals that they can incorporate into their mob killing rotation.
